AI Asquare ("we", "our", or "us") built the MediaEditor app ("the App") as a free, ad-supported application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our App.

1.1 Media Files

MediaEditor processes video, audio, and image files that you select from your device. All media processing (trimming, compressing, resizing, watermarking, filtering, audio extraction, etc.) happens entirely on your device. We do not upload, transmit, or store your media files on any external server.

1.2 Device Storage Access

The App requires access to your device storage to:

• Read media files you choose to edit
• Save processed files to your device gallery (Movies/MediaEditor, Music/MediaEditor, Pictures/MediaEditor folders)

1.3 Advertising Data

We use Google AdMob to display banner and interstitial advertisements. Google AdMob may collect certain information automatically, including:

• Device identifiers (Advertising ID)
• IP address
• Device type, operating system, and version
• App usage data and interaction with ads
• General location (based on IP address)

This data is collected and processed by Google in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).

1.4 No Personal Information

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, phone number, or account credentials. The App does not require user registration or login.

• Media files: Used solely to perform the editing operations you request, processed locally on your device.
• Advertising data: Used by Google AdMob to serve relevant advertisements and measure ad performance.

We do not sell, share, or transfer your personal data to third parties for purposes other than those described in this policy.

MediaEditor is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal data through the App, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

The App requests the following permissions:

• READ_MEDIA_VIDEO / READ_MEDIA_AUDIO / READ_MEDIA_IMAGES (Android 13+): To access media files you select for editing.
• READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (Android 12 and below): To access media files you select for editing.
• INTERNET: Required for displaying advertisements.
• ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: To check network availability for ad loading.

7. Data Retention

Since all processing is performed locally on your device, we do not retain any of your data. Processed files remain on your device under your control. You can delete them at any time through the App's My Files section or your device's file manager.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Deny or revoke storage permissions at any time through your device settings.
• Opt out of personalized advertising through your device's ad settings.
• Delete any processed files from your device at any time.
• Uninstall the App, which removes all app-specific cached data.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
